Amin Saud,
Turchi’s family first ancestor, merchant
and owner of a great fleet, had no doubt:
he changed his ships for fertile fields.
He went on dominating the sea from his sweet
hills of Balignano as on a wonderful ship
made by ground and olive trees.
A small village, a church, the olive mill
and the silence of the colors: this unbelievable
frame of the Antico
Frantoio Turchi
is the exactly same that greeted Amin Saud
when he arrived.
Balignano is located between Cesena and
Rimini (Italy), close to the Emilia road
and it’s the first hill that receives
the sea flavours. The perfect height of
these hills gives to the olive trees a magical
touch that creates a superb extra-virgin
olive oil.
Since 1400 the Amin
Saud’s olive mill
has been crushing olives. Since
those days, few has been changed.
